Jyurniq (“we”, “us”) is a personal travel log. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account details: name, email, username, password (stored hashed), and optional profile fields you add.
Travel content: journeys, notes, photos, ratings, and other material you choose to log or publish.
Support messages: contact form submissions and attachments you send us.
Technical data: basic device and usage signals needed to keep the service secure and working (for example session cookies and request logs).

How we use information

Create and manage your account and public profile link.
Show the journeys and posts you choose to make visible.
Send verification, security, and service-related email.
Respond to support requests and improve the product.
Protect the service against abuse and unauthorized access.

Visibility and sharing

You control whether a journey or story is private, unlisted, or public. Public content may appear on Discover and search. Profile usernames and public pages can be opened by anyone with the link.

Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not use these for third-party advertising.

Processors and third parties

We use trusted providers to host the app, store files, send email, and process payments where those features are enabled. They only receive what is needed to perform that work on our behalf.

Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. You can delete journeys or request account deletion; residual backups may persist for a limited time for security and continuity.

Your choices

Update profile and visibility settings from your dashboard.
Delete content you no longer want stored.
Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your account.

Children

Jyurniq is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
