Travel plan:

Day 1 – Arrival and Golden Temple
Arrive in Amritsar, check in and relax. Visit the Golden Temple and walk around the sacred Amrit Sarovar. Experience the peaceful evening atmosphere, explore Heritage Street and, if you wish, have a simple meal at the community kitchen.

Day 2 – History and Attari–Wagah Border
Visit Jallianwala Bagh and the Partition Museum to understand important chapters of the region’s history. Later, travel to the Attari–Wagah border to watch the evening retreat ceremony before returning to Amritsar.

Day 3 – Local Culture and Departure
Explore Gobindgarh Fort or visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, depending on operating days and available time. Enjoy an authentic Amritsari kulcha breakfast, shop for phulkari and Punjabi handicrafts, and depart for your onward journey.
